Never Over Theatre creates theatre that taps into the messy, beautiful realities of life, the grey areas within our black and whites. Everything and Nothing is their first show as a company and the experience has brought together a group of creatives that have put their dreams on hold at one time or another and come back to them with fire in their hearts.
Our Story
Never Over Theatre was established in early 2025 and is intrinsically linked with our first production Everything and Nothing. Gabriela, Never Over Theatre's Artistic Director, wrote Everything and Nothing in the autumn of 2024 after an experience that she could not not write about. Once the play was born, the company came soon after.
Never Over Theatre came from the idea that the actor's journey is not a straightforward one; it's messy and nuanced. Many of us have lost our way in the pursuit of our dreams, but it is the never giving up that this company seeks to celebrate. Society likes to perpetuate ideas that limits us but we believe, it is never too late, and you are never too old. The name is inspired by Jeff Buckley's song 'Lover, You Should've Come Over'.
We aim to bring our values of commitment, community, authenticity, and unwavering hope to every production and collaboration. We believe in the vitality of theatre as an artform and the power of storytelling to unite us with each other and the world around us.
